Assessments 100 points - Tests, projects and any other types of alternative assessments will be given throughout the year. Any type of end of the unit assessment will be worth 100 points. All tests below a 65 must be signed.
Quizzes – points will vary depending on the number of questions.
All quizzes below a 65 must be signed by a parent/guardian.
Students will have a quiz every Friday ( unless given notice ahead of time )
Homework Points will vary for each assignment – Homework will be given on a regular basis. It will be checked and/or collected the following school day. If a homework assignment is 1 day late it will only be worth half credit, and 2 days late will be no credit.
Homework Quizzes can be given without notice!
Class work – assignments/points will vary depending on the type/length of assignment.
Class Participation/Preparation – Students will be given a 100 point grade per marking period based on their participation/preparation. This means being on time to class, being prepared means and participating in class discussions.
If a student is late for class three times they will receive a detention.
If a student is unprepared for class three times the will receive a detention.
Extra Credit – is not given on a regular basis and
